Georgia High School Baseball - Apalachee wallops Alcovy
March 11, 2025: Winder, GA 30680 In Tuesday's league game, the host Apalachee Wildcats baseball team scored a nice 13-3 win over the Alcovy Tigers.
The Wildcats (6-7) will now prepare for their game against Clarke Central (Athens, GA). The Gladiators go into the AAAAA Region 8 game with a 7-8 record. In their last game, Clarke Central was overwhelmed by Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA), 10-3, in a league game.
Next, the Tigers play the Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA) in a AAAAA Region 8 game, on Wednesday, March 12. Alcovy will attempt to improve on its 0-14 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 6-5 record after their 12-3 non-league loss to Parkview (Lilburn, GA).
