In Friday's league bout, the Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs (Winder, GA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA), by a tally of 29-2.

Next up, the Bulldoggs encounter the Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA) in a AAAAA Region 8 bout, on Monday, March 31. Winder-Barrow will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Gladiators enter the bout with a 12-11 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Monroe Area (Monroe, GA).
