The Seguin Matadors triumphed over the host Edison Golden Bears baseball squad by a score of 10-0 in Wednesday's league test.

The Matadors now hold a 14-8 record. They take the field next when they host Burbank for a 5A Region IV District 27 test on Tuesday, March 17. Seguin will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-0 league win over Highlands (San Antonio, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-11.

With the defeat, Edison drops to 4-9 on the year. The Golden bears host Sam Houston (San Antonio, TX) to play the Hurricanes in a 5A Region IV District 27 test on Tuesday, March 17. The Hurricanes go into the test with a record of 0-8. Sam Houston lost 18-0 in their recent league test against Brackenridge (San Antonio, TX)
