Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lanier Voks (San Antonio, TX), 13-1 in a league test.

The Matadors now hold a 18-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jefferson for a 5A Region IV District 27 test on Tuesday, March 31. Seguin will play a Mustangs team coming off a 7-6 league win over Burbank (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-8.

With the defeat, Lanier drops to 0-13 on the year. The Voks host Sam Houston (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Hurricanes in a 5A Region IV District 27 outing on Tuesday, March 31.
