In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Poth Pirates baseball team scored a close 3-1 win over the Dilley Wolves.

The Pirates (11-3) will now prepare for their game against Hondo (Hondo, TX). The Owls go into the non-league game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, Hondo by Bandera (Bandera, TX), 13-8, in a non-league game.
