In Monday's non-league bout, the Hondo Owls (Hondo, TX) baseball squad the visiting Poth Pirates (Poth, TX), by a tally of 6-4.

Coming up next, the Owls clash with the Dilley Wolves (Dilley, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 28 test, on Friday, March 21. Hondo will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Wolves go into the test with a 8-3 record after their 9-8 non-league win over Freer (Freer, TX).
