California High School Softball - River Valley bounces Placer

The River Valley Falcons softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Placer Hillmen to 1 in the Falcons league win on Thursday.

The Falcons now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Twelve Bridges for a Foothill Valley League challenge on Tuesday, March 17. River Valley will meet a Raging Rhinos squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Woodcreek (Roseville, CA). The Raging Rhinos record now stands at 1-11.

The Hillmen (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Roseville (Roseville, CA). The Tigers go into the Foothill Valley League challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Roseville toppled Yuba City (Yuba City, CA), 18-1, in a league challenge.
