The Placer Hillmen softball squad (Auburn, CA), was routed 16-12 in Thursday's league contest with the host Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos (Lincoln, CA)

With the triumph, Twelve Bridges improves its record to 2-12 on the year. The Raging Rhinos host Franklin (Elk Grove, CA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Friday, March 20. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 7-4. Franklin won 10-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA)

In their next game, the Hillmen battle the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) in a Foothill Valley League bout, on Tuesday, March 24. Placer will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Miners go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 12-10 non-league loss to Bear River (Grass Valley, CA).
