The East Union Urchins overwhelmed the host Ripley Tigers softball squad by a count of 12-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Urchins meet the Mooreville Troopers (Mooreville, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 13. East Union will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Troopers go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 16-14 non-league loss to North Pontotoc (Ecru, MS).
