The Paramount Pirates (Paramount, CA) baseball trounced the host Firebaugh Falcons (Lynwood, CA), 19-6 in Friday's league bout.

Next up, the Pirates encounter the Cerritos Dons (Cerritos, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 16. Paramount will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Dons enter the bout with a 4-3 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA).

The Falcons (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Dominguez (Compton, CA). The Dons go into the Mid Cities challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Dominguez was overwhelmed by Norwalk (Norwalk, CA), 9-4, in a league challenge.
