The Paramount Pirates (Paramount, CA) baseball got by the visiting Norwalk Lancers (Norwalk, CA), 2-1 in Friday's league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Long Beach Poly for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 7. Paramount will clash with a Jackrabbits team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 12-6.

With the defeat, Norwalk drops to 5-7 on the year. The Lancers host Maywood CES (Maywood, CA) to encounter the Wolfpack in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 4. The Wolfpack enter the bout with a record of 6-6. Maywood CES won 30-0 in their recent non-league bout against Collins Family (Huntington Park, CA)
