The South Mecklenburg Sabres triumphed over the visiting Sun Valley Spartans lacrosse team by a score of 13-6 in Monday's non-league match.

With the win, South Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Sabres travel to Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC) to play the Cougars in a Southwestern/So Meck match on Thursday, March 17. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 4-1. Charlotte Catholic lost 17-10 in their recent non-league match against Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC)

With the defeat, Sun Valley drops to 3-2 on the season. The Spartans host Providence (Charlotte, NC) to play the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 15.
