The Independence Patriots lacrosse squad (Charlotte, NC), was overwhelmed 17-4 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC)

Coming up next, the Sabres confront the Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 8. South Mecklenburg will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Blue Eagles enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 15-8 league loss to Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC).
