In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) lacrosse squad routed the host Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC), by a count of 18-7.

Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC) in a Southwestern/So Meck contest, on Thursday, April 7. Independence will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 10-2 record after their 20-9 non-league win over Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC).
