Wesley Chapel Wildcats (Wesley Chapel, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL), 8-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Wesley Chapel upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Land O' Lakes (Land O' Lakes, FL) to battle the Gators in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 15. The Gators come into the test with a record of 7-1. Land O' Lakes won 12-0 in their recent non-league test against Cypress Creek (Wesley Chapel, FL)

With the defeat, River Ridge falls to 4-6 on the season. The Royal knights host Fivay (Hudson, FL) to battle the Falcons in a 5A District 8 test on Tuesday, March 21. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 2-6. Fivay lost 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic (Spring Hill, FL)
