North Carolina High School Baseball - Southwestern Randolph holds off Trinity
March 14, 2024: Trinity, NC 27370 Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC), 7-3 in a league test.
With the win, Southwestern Randolph upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Cougars host Randleman (Randleman, NC) to battle the Tigers in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A test on Tuesday, March 19. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 5-2. Randleman lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against West Davidson (Lexington, NC)
With the defeat, Trinity falls to 3-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC) to battle the Cowboys in a non-league test on Saturday, March 16. The Cowboys come into the test with a record of 7-0. Southwest Guilford won 10-0 in their recent league test against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
