The Christchurch School Seahorses baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Blue Ridge Barons to 7 in the Seahorses non-league win on Friday.

The Seahorses now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Steward for a Tidewater Independent test on Saturday, March 15. Christchurch School will play a Spartans team coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot (Powhatan, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Blue Ridge drops to 0-3 on the year. The Barons travel to Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA) to play the Kings in a non-league test on Saturday, March 15. The Kings go into the test with a record of 0-1. Grace Christian School lost 11-3 in their recent non-league test against Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA)
