In Friday's league bout, the Three Rivers Bulldogs (Three Rivers, TX) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Charlotte Trojans (Charlotte, TX), by a score of 12-4.

Next up, the Bulldogs encounter the Knippa Crushers (Knippa, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 18. Three Rivers will attempt to advance on its 7-5 season record. The Crushers enter the bout with a 4-5 record after their 17-0 league loss to D'Hanis (D'Hanis, TX).

The Trojans (4-7) will now prepare for their bout against Brackett (Brackettville, TX). The Tigers enter the 2A Region IV District 31 bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, Brackett was overwhelmed by Falls City (Falls City, TX), 18-3, in a league bout.
