North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) backers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the visiting Swansboro Pirates (Swansboro, NC), 6-5 in a non-league game.

With the victory, North Brunswick improves its record to 7-0 on the season. The Scorpions host Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC) to play the Monarchs in a non-league game on Monday, March 17. The Monarchs come into the game with a record of 3-1. Northside - Jacksonville won 21-1 in their recent non-league game against D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC)

The Pirates now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jacksonville for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 18. Swansboro will play a Cardinals team coming off a 7-6 non-league win over New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-1.
