The Hickory Red Tornadoes walloped the host Watauga Pioneers lacrosse team by a final score of 18-1 in Tuesday's league match.

With the win, Hickory betters its record to 3-2 on the season. The Red Tornadoes travel to Patton (Morganton, NC) to play the Panthers in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills match on Thursday, March 17. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 1-2. Patton lost 23-2 in their recent league match against T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC)

With the defeat, Watauga drops to 0-5 on the season. The Pioneers host St. Stephens (Hickory, NC) to play the Indians in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn.
