North Carolina High School Softball - Queen's Grant can't get by Forest Hills
March 15, 2022: Matthews, NC 28105 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) softball team held off the host Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), by a margin of 8-7.
With the triumph, Forest Hills moves its record to 2-6 on the year. The Yellow Jackets travel to Union Academy (Monroe, NC) to play the Cardinals in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 17. The Cardinals come into the contest with a record of 6-0. Union Academy won 4-0 in their recent league contest against Robinson (Concord, NC)
In their next game, the Stallions play the Sugar Creek Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a Metro Eight 1A contest, on Friday, March 18. Queen's Grant will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 18-0 league loss to Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC).
