North Carolina High School Baseball - East Davidson loses to Trinity
March 16, 2022: Trinity, NC 27370 The Trinity Bulldogs crushed the visiting East Davidson Golden Eagles baseball team by a count of 14-8 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southwestern Randolph for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A bout on Friday, March 18. Trinity will face a Cougars team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-6.
Next, the Golden Eagles face the Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC) in a Central Carolina 1A/2A bout, on Friday, March 18. East Davidson will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the bout with a 0-6 record after their 16-0 non-league loss to Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC).
