North Carolina High School Baseball - Ledford defeats Trinity
April 2, 2022: Trinity, NC 27370 Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC), 7-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Ledford upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Panthers host Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC) to battle the Grizzlies in a Mid-Piedmont 3A test on Tuesday, April 5. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 6-3. Oak Grove lost 6-3 in their recent league test against North Davidson (Lexington, NC)
With the defeat, Trinity falls to 9-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC) to battle the Jets in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 5. The Jets come into the test with a record of 5-7. Jordan-Matthews won 10-0 in their recent league test against Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC)
