The Sharyland Rattlers (Mission, TX) baseball the visiting Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX), 13-9 in Thursday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Rattlers encounter the McAllen Memorial Mustangs (McAllen, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 contest, on Tuesday, March 21. Sharyland will attempt to better on its 14-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 7-10 record after their 10-5 league loss to McAllen (McAllen, TX).
