Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Sharyland Rattlers (Mission, TX) and the visiting McAllen Memorial Mustangs (McAllen, TX), saw Sharyland's baseball squad beat McAllen Memorial by a margin of 12-2.

Coming up next, the Rattlers play the Valley View Tigers (Pharr, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 battle, on Tuesday, March 28. Sharyland will attempt to better on its 16-2 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 9-8 record after their 4-3 league loss to Vela (Edinburg, TX).

The Mustangs now sport a 7-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pioneer for a 5A Region IV District 31 battle on Tuesday, March 28.
