The Valley Christian Trojans (Chandler, AZ) softball the visiting Arizona College Prep Knights (Chandler, AZ), 8-4 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Trojans (10-1) will now prepare for their bout against Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ). The Chargers go into the 3A Metro bout with a 2-8 record. In their last bout, Benjamin Franklin was routed by Yuma Catholic (Yuma, AZ), 15-5, in a non-league bout.

The Knights now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bourgade Catholic for a non-league bout on Friday, March 18. Arizona College Prep will confront a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Phoenix Christian (Phoenix, AZ). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 8-2.
