The Slaton Tigers (Slaton, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Muleshoe Mules (Muleshoe, TX), 16-6 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a 3A Region I District 2 challenge on Saturday, March 21. Slaton will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 5-3 league win over Littlefield (Littlefield, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 8-8.
