The Slaton Tigers (Slaton, TX) baseball the visiting Friona Chieftains (Friona, TX), 22-18 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dimmitt for a 3A Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, April 24. Slaton will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Littlefield (Littlefield, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 16-7.

With the defeat, Friona drops to 4-18 on the year. The Chieftains host Muleshoe (Muleshoe, TX) to clash with the Mules in a 3A Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, April 24.
