Mississippi High School Softball - Loyd Star bounces Enterprise

The Loyd Star Hornets softball squad scored 13 runs and limited the host Enterprise Yellowjackets to 3 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

Next, the Hornets play the Franklin County Bulldogs (Meadville, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 20. Loyd Star will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 25-4 league win over Port Gibson (Port Gibson, MS).

The Yellowjackets (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Lawrence County (Monticello, MS). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Lawrence County overcame South Pike (Magnolia, MS), 20-0, in a league battle.
