The Grimsley Whirlies baseball team (Greensboro, NC), was overwhelmed 9-5 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC)

The Vikings now hold a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Page for a Metro 4A outing on Tuesday, March 22. Northwest Guilford will confront a Pirates team coming off a 11-4 league loss to Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 0-6.

Next, the Whirlies confront the Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A outing, on Tuesday, March 22. Grimsley will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Hornets go into the outing with a 0-6 record after their 12-1 league loss to Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC).
