Next up, the Screaming Eagle battle the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A outing, on Friday, March 21. Ashley will attempt to advance on its 8-0 season record. The Wildcats come into the outing with a 6-2 record after their 11-5 league loss to South Brunswick (Southport, NC).

The Buccaneers (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings come into the Mideastern 3A/4A outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Hoggard tipped Swansboro (Swansboro, NC), 4-3, in a non-league outing.
