March 18, 2025: Burnet, TX 78611 Burnet Bulldogs (Burnet, TX) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Marble Falls Mustangs (Marble Falls, TX), 11-0 in a league game.
With the triumph, Burnet improves its record to 6-9 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Taylor (Taylor, TX) to face the Ducks in a 4A Region III District 24 game on Friday, March 21. The Ducks enter the game with a record of 5-8. Taylor lost 6-5 in their recent league game against Jarrell (Jarrell, TX)
The Mustangs now hold a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Jarrell for a 4A Region III District 24 game on Wednesday, March 19. Marble Falls will face a Cougars squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 4-13.
