The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX) and the host McCollum Cowboys (San Antonio, TX), observed Southwest's softball team get by McCollum by a tally of 9-2.

The Dragons (9-5) will now prepare for their bout against Medina Valley (Castroville, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 11-6 record. In their last bout, Medina Valley tipped Del Rio (Del Rio, TX), 9-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cowboys battle the Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 28 bout, on Friday, March 21. McCollum will attempt to advance on its 11-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 8-4 league win over Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX).
