The McCollum Cowboys (San Antonio, TX) softball routed the host Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX), 8-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Cowboys now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southside for a 5A Region IV District 28 outing on Tuesday, March 25. McCollum will encounter a Cardinals team coming off a 20-10 league win over Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-5.

With the loss, Jay moves to 4-10 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Southwest (San Antonio, TX) to encounter the Dragons in a 5A Region IV District 28 outing on Tuesday, March 25.
