North Carolina High School Baseball - Freedom loses to Hibriten
March 19, 2024: Morganton, NC 28655 The Hibriten Panthers crushed the host Freedom Patriots baseball team by a count of 13-3 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Ashe County for a non-league bout on Friday, March 22. Hibriten will face a Huskies team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 0-4.
Next, the Patriots face the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, March 20. Freedom will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 5-0 record after their 16-2 non-league win over Watauga (Boone, NC).
