North Carolina High School Baseball - Freedom loses to South Caldwell
April 16, 2024: Morganton, NC 28655 The Freedom Patriots baseball team (Morganton, NC), was overwhelmed 11-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the visiting South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC)
The Spartans now hold a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alexander Central for a non-league match on Friday, April 19. South Caldwell will confront a Cougars team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Watauga (Boone, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 10-2.
The Patriots (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Huskies go into the non-league match with a 1-8 record. In their last match, Ashe County was overwhelmed by Hibriten (Lenoir, NC), 16-0, in a non-league match.
