The Cornerstone Charter Cardinals softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Leadership Academy Falcons to 5 in the Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Cornerstone Charter moves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Cardinals host River Mill (Graham, NC) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 20. The Jaguars come into the game with a record of 0-5. River Mill lost 15-1 in their recent league game against Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC)

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Bethany Wolves (Summerfield, NC) in a Northwest Piedmont 1A game, on Friday, March 22. Leadership Academy will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.
