The Fort Chiswell Pioneers baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Richlands Blue Tornado to 1 in the Pioneers non-league win on Wednesday.

The Pioneers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Rural Retreat for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 25. Fort Chiswell will play a Indians team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Indians record now stands at 0-1.
