The Fort Chiswell Pioneers baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Richlands Blue Tornado to 5 in the Pioneers non-league win on Friday.

The Pioneers now hold a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Radford for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 23.

With the defeat, Richlands drops to 4-4 on the year. The Blue tornado travel to Virginia High (Bristol, VA) to play the Bearcats in a non-league test on Monday, April 28. The Bearcats go into the test with a record of 3-2. Virginia High won 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Marion (Marion, VA)
