South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Hug Hawks (Reno, NV), 15-13 in a league game.

With the triumph, South Tahoe upgrades its record to 1-7 on the year. The Vikings travel to North Valleys (Reno, NV) to play the Panthers in a 3A North - West game on Saturday, March 22. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 2-4. North Valleys won 12-9 in their recent non-league game against Churchill County (Fallon, NV)

The Hawks now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Wooster for a 3A North - West game on Saturday, March 22. Hug will play a Colts squad coming off a 19-0 non-league loss to Portola (Portola, CA). The Colts record now stands at 0-4.
