In Friday's league test, the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hug Hawks (Reno, NV), by a count of 20-2.

Next, the Vikings meet the Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV) in a 3A North - West test, on Wednesday, April 23. South Tahoe will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Railroaders go into the test with a 5-9 record after their 17-2 league loss to North Valleys (Reno, NV).
