The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Trinity Blazers (River Forest, IL) and the visiting Aurora Central Catholic Chargers (Aurora, IL), saw Trinity's softball squad nip Aurora Central Catholic by a score of 6-5.

With the triumph, Trinity improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Blazers travel to Resurrection (Chicago, IL) to face the Bandits in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 24. The Bandits enter the contest with a record of 3-1. Resurrection won 9-2 in their recent non-league contest against Romeoville (Romeoville, IL)

The Chargers now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Waubonsie Valley for a non-league contest on Friday, March 20.
