Louisiana High School Softball - Byrd bounces Ebarb
March 2, 2024: Noble, LA 71462 Byrd Yellow Jackets (Shreveport, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Ebarb Rebels (Noble, LA), 21-11 in a non-league challenge.
The Yellow Jackets now sport a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parkway for a 5A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 5. Byrd will face a Panthers squad coming off a 12-5 non-league win over Calvin (Calvin, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-8.
With the loss, Ebarb falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Rebels host Negreet (Negreet, LA) to face the Indians in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 2-4.
