West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC) backers exited the stadium satisfied Monday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the visiting John Paul II Catholic Saints (Greenville, NC), 15-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Brunswick for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 4. West Carteret will clash with a Scorpions squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC). The Scorpions record now stands at 0-2.
