The Palisades Pumas defeated the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres volleyball team by a tally of 3-1 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Pumas (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC). The Wolves enter the challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Ballantyne Ridge was beaten by Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
