The Apache Junction Prospectors baseball squad (Apache Junction, AZ), was overwhelmed 13-3 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Florence Gophers (Florence, AZ)

With the triumph, Florence moves its record to 12-2 on the season. The Gophers host Globe (Globe, AZ) to confront the Tigers in a 3A Central contest on Tuesday, March 24. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 3-5. Globe lost 8-6 in their recent league contest against Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ)

The Prospectors now possess a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seton Catholic for a 3A Central game on Tuesday, March 24. Apache Junction will face a Sentinels team coming off a 13-1 non-league win over McClintock (Tempe, AZ). The Sentinels record now stands at 11-2.
