March 20, 2026: Jamestown, NC 27282 In Friday's league bout, the Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC), by a tally of 12-1.
The Tigers now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grimsley for a Metro 6A/7A challenge on Tuesday, March 24. Ragsdale will clash with a Whirlies team coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Orange (Hillsborough, NC). The Whirlies record now stands at 8-1.
With the defeat, Page drops to 8-2 on the year. The Pirates travel to Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC) to face the Cowboys in a Metro 6A/7A battle on Tuesday, March 24. The Cowboys enter the battle with a record of 5-3. Southwest Guilford won 5-3 in their recent non-league battle against Morehead (Eden, NC)
