The Ashley Screaming Eagle softball squad (Wilmington, NC), was routed 14-8 in Friday's league contest with the visiting North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC)

With the triumph, North Brunswick improves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Scorpions travel to Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Monday, March 23. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a record of 3-6. Dixon lost 12-9 in their recent non-league contest against White Oak (Jacksonville, NC)

The Screaming Eagle now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Wilmington Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 24.
