Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Folsom Bulldogs (Folsom, CA), 11-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Whitney improves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, March 23. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 3-3. Pleasant Grove lost 13-3 in their recent non-league game against Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA)

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Del Oro Golden Eagles (Loomis, CA) in a Sierra Foothill League match, on Wednesday, March 25. Folsom will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record.
