Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Folsom Bulldogs (Folsom, CA), 5-2 in a non-league match.

The Huskies (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Whitney (Rocklin, CA). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Whitney nipped Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA), 3-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the St. Francis Troubadours (Sacramento, CA) in a Sierra Foothill League match, on Wednesday, March 11. Folsom will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Troubadours enter the game with a 2-5 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA).
